Perch Pace Privacy Statement
Perch Pace is designed to be a private, local-first bird tracking app.
What Perch Pace stores
Perch Pace stores the information you enter into the app on your device, including:
daily bird sightings
bird counts
optional sighting notes
optional day details such as location, time, temperature, humidity, wind, weather summary, and day notes
monthly bird-count goals
Where your data is stored
Your tracking data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage technologies.
Perch Pace does not require an account to use the app.
What Perch Pace does not do
Perch Pace does not:
require sign-in
sync your data to our servers
upload your bird logs to a cloud service controlled by us
share your sightings with other users
sell your personal data
CSV export
Perch Pace allows you to export your data to a CSV file.
CSV export only happens when you choose to export your data. Exported files are handled by Apple’s system share and file-saving tools, and where the file goes after export depends on the location or app you choose.

If you open one of these links, you leave the app and visit a third-party website. Those sites have their own privacy practices and terms.
Analytics and tracking
Perch Pace is intended to operate without analytics, advertising trackers, or user profiling.
If that changes in a future version, this privacy statement should be updated before release.
Data deletion
You can delete individual entries inside the app. Perch Pace also includes a delete-all option that removes your locally stored app data from the device.
Children’s privacy
Perch Pace is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through online services because the app does not require an account or direct data submission to us.
Changes to this privacy statement
If Perch Pace’s privacy practices change, this statement should be updated to reflect those changes.
